Eddie

Eddie came home to Tiny Hooves in February of 2018, along with his brother Tommy, and chicken friend Joan.  Unfortunately, within the first 24 hours of rescue, we lost Tommy and Joan to issues from their extreme neglect. Eddie has had to fight to stay healthy since arrival, battling an upper respiratory infection, then a viral skin infection, and all while trying to walk on just three legs. The conditions that he came from were deplorable. After exams and tests, we have identified that in his previous home, Eddie had severely broken his front left leg at the knee joint. Nothing was done to help him, and it healed at a 90 degree angle, with a calcified knee and no chance of rebuilding. Despite Eddie's disability, he gets around well, and wow is he a quick one! He is a very happy, friendly, silly, and loving boy!
